In a significant step toward reshaping the finance industry, UFinancial has announced the appointment of four powerhouse women brokers—Georgia, Abigael, Nicole, and Alyssa. This move underscores UFinancial’s commitment to gender diversity, positioning the company at the forefront of a traditionally male-dominated field.
The finance industry has long been skewed towards male representation, with women making up less than 25 percent of brokers nationwide. UFinancial’s decision to add these four accomplished professionals not only boosts its team’s capabilities but also sends a strong message about the company’s dedication to fostering a more equitable environment in finance. The team now comprises ten men and five women, signalling a shift toward greater inclusivity.
These new brokers, transitioning from their previous roles as Lending Specialists, bring with them a wealth of experience, passion, and innovative perspectives. Their combined expertise is set to elevate UFinancial’s service offerings, empowering clients with the confidence to navigate their financial journeys.
The timing of this appointment aligns with broader trends in Australia, where women are increasingly taking the lead in property investment and homeownership. ABS data reveals that 60.6% of single first-home buyers are women, and CoreLogic’s 2024 Women and Property report indicates that 68.2% of women own at least one residential property, compared to 67.4% of men. Additionally, the Women and Money report by WIRE and NAB highlights a growing demand for ‘women-centred services.’ Many women report feeling more comfortable discussing their financial goals with female brokers who can empathize with their unique challenges and aspirations.
The addition of Georgia, Abigael, Nicole, and Alyssa to UFinancial’s team is a direct response to this trend. These brokers are well-equipped to meet the needs of female clients, offering insights and understanding that resonate with the increasing number of women who are key decision-makers in real estate.
UFinancial CEO Bryce Deledio welcomes the new team members and highlights the brands dedication to diversity.
“Diverse perspectives lead to stronger outcomes, and we are excited to see how these incredible women will contribute to our collective success.”
Georgia, Abigael, Nicole, and Alyssa are eager to embrace their new roles, sharing a commitment to making finance more accessible and inclusive for everyone.
The appointment of these four brokers is a milestone for the company and an inspiration for women in the industry, proving that the future of finance is diverse, dynamic, and inclusive.
